Buccaneer Queen is located at
the end of the Peninsula of Baja
California Sur in Cabo San
Lucas. As soon as you board the
Buccaneer Queen you will be
surrounded by the sights and
sounds of the sea working
waterfront. You may see fishing
boats that have just returned
from sea taking out fish and
perhaps even some of our local
people such as Harbor Seals,
Double Crested Cormorants,
pelicans and of course you will
hear the calls of the ubiquitous
"seagulls" (Herring, Great
Black-backed, and Ring-billed
Gulls).
Shortly before leaving the dock
your crew will give a short
presentation to familiarize you
with the area that we will be
traveling to and the whale
species we are likely to
encounter.
Then it's time to cast off the
morning lines and get underway.
As we make our way through the
harbor your naturalist will
point out the historic buildings
and landmarks of Cabo and tell
some of talk of some of the
maritime lore surrounding this
world famous seaport.
We
will sail right past the old
cannery, company where you may
saw commercial fishing boats
many years ago unloading with
tuna fish ,then the boat will
sail by the lovers beach to
continue and stop at the world
famous The Arch & Sea Lions
Colony direction that we travel
depends, of course, on where the
greatest concentration of whales
has been sighted over the past
few days.
Our
experienced captains (the most
experienced whale watch captains
in Cabo will take into account
all variables to make sure you
see the best of what your
particular day on the water has
to offer. |
